Here’s a stimulating upstart product that will give your students something to think about. It’s a simple, but new variation of the color wheel.
You can adjust the color segments to reflect as much or as little of each color as you may think is required to achieve the highest level of light reflection. The thinking comes in when it’s necessary to decide just how much of each color is the correct amount to achieve a near white light reflection when the disc is spinning.
For use only with a hand-driven or a variable speed rotator that can be set to run at low speed (several hundred rpm), such as the ER-6A as shown in the images above.
Rotator is not included, but may be purchased separately.
